I suppose I need to write something on paper before I go into each class--to remind me what I need to do. What sort of things should I write?

The secret is not to write "chapter and verse", if you spend half the lesson reading your notes, you will lose the "interest" of your students and it can sometimes come across that you are not confident in your knowledge in so much as you have to keep making reference to your notes! Better to just jot down "Buzz" words, words that act purely as "reminders" of the particular subject matter without having to go into detail. Try and pre-empt questions that your students are liable to ask and put a relevant "Buzz" word down. For example if I was talking about "volumes", using "Archimedes" or "Eureka" would help me to focus and get my points across.

I may write details of things that students may ask about like a certain piece of information.Perhaps , I will write an idiom or a poem or a song or a drevative.Perhaps how i will divide groups and do i need group or peer work or even individual.finally something for the slow learners to motivate them a challenge for the high achievers.A critical thinking question is important too to widen imagination and horizon
