Yes.. it is mandatory for every vehicle that plies on the road must have an insurance of the car/vehicle. is any vehicle got the comprehensive insurance, the insured will have the following benefits:
1) accidental external means.
2) fire external explosion self-ifnition or lightning or frost.
3) burglary hosue-breaking or theft
4) malicious act
5) riot, strike
6) flood,hail, wind, hurricane, cyclone, tornado or typhoon.
7) earthquake volcani eruption or other convulsion of nature.
8) whilst in transit by air, road or rail inland waterway lift or elevator.
Yes every vehicle that plies on the road should be covered by insurance. At least covered by3rd party insurance. Ie if a car hits another person or car the victim is protected by insurance. But in some places the government as a cost cutting measure do not insure their vehicles. The government says it would compensate the party affected by an accident.
Yes it is correct , all motor vehicles can not be used for private or commercial purposes unless they are at least have third party insurance which is compulsory by law. however if the said vehicles are not in use for example whilst in store you may need to insure them against fire and burglary only by fire insurance policy which is not compulsory and depend on the insured desire and awareness.

C) inland marine insurance form main port to the insured stores .
D) fire insuranse whlist in stores .
e) motor vehicles insurance whlist plies in the road for use. At least third party insurance.
