What are some methods of concrete curing?

prevent moisture loss by continuously wetting the exposed surface of the concrete.
keep the surface moist and, at the same time, raise the temperature of the concrete, there by increasing the rate of strength gain.

1- the best method is using wet borlap and plastic sheets on top of fresh concrete and use enough water to cure it

2- using curing compound on concrete surface

3-using pressurized water vapor under plastic cover specially for precasted pre tensioned concrete when possible

4- using some plastic cover on concrete and use some central warming method in cold weather concreting

The concrete design mix has more water content than is needed for the curing of the concrete.to achieve a workable concrete mix.
Hence the main purpose of curing is to retain this water against loss of moisture due to natural sources like sun and air + evaporation due to rise in the temperature of concrete due to the process of hydration being an exothermic reaction.
To do so either covering the surface to prevent evaporation or keeping the surface moist by spraying water or the use of a curing compound to form a partially impervious membrane at the top are the applicable methods.
