Task-Target -Goals -Follow up reports - achivements-evaluation-motivations
The best way to do it (& this one always works) is to set subgoals to the big goals.
To explain it more: Draw a map (more if you have more than one project), put the main goal right on top, then right the steps (is small goals form) necessary to reach that goal right under.
The reason why I call them Subgoals instead of just tasks or regular steps, is because goals motivate your teammates in an amazing way, keep them going, and make them feel proud as soon as they accomplesh one.
You also need to make sure what each one of your teammates is good at, and give them "Goals" based on that, because that would help them get the job done faster, and best of all, they like doing it.
If you are the leader, be that. Keep them motivated, help them get the job done (they want to see that you are willing to take the extra mile with them), and keep them in line when they miss it.
Take care!

When work is more than available resources. It is always good to divide, categorize and prioritize the tasks. In this way, every time a task is a team member can be confident that the next task on hand is easier. This will result to less pressure and less chance of error.
