Share a time when you've taught using methods other than a lecture. What was the outcome?

Whwn I used youtube videos to teach the concept of chemical reactions to grade10 students. The videos cover six types of reactions within15min. This was good because I could pause the video and explain further to students. The lesson was covered in45minutes which coukd have involved more time if I had to do it in the laboratory.
