Customer service is quite important for a company because it provides feedback to patrons whether to still do business or not anymore. Good customer experience inhibits profit and the other way around may lead to fatality or loss to the company. UAE customers are known as needy . They need a feeling of importance . So you must make them feel like among other customers they are really important to you . By my experiance if you treat them like you would treat your relatives they will most certanly appreciate that and treat you same back.
UAe customers does not care about service etiquete . u can serve them silver plates and golden cutleries ,they will still eat with their fingers but showing them genuine carenes and making them feel like they just dine in their own dining room will make you hero in their eyes .

Customer Service Standards are mostly similar in all countries. However, knowing UAE customers to be comprised of multi-cultured people from many countries, it is important to remain agile and adapt to a wide vriety of customer behaviours.
It is essential for a customer service agent / manager in UAE to plan customer meetings and actions / deliverables more carefully than what may be done in other countries with customers with a uniform culture. While this is not aimed at any racial or ethnic discrimination, the objective is adapting with empathy and thereby delivering high quality customer services.

In any developed culture or environment, related to the customer service industry, we need to speak the truth with our customer representative by realizing their basic needs. Treat them as your customers and always give them respect as they are the face of the company. This is the only job where you need to personalize them as they have to personalize the customer. Give them some environment where they themselves grasp the communication skills to handle the customers and do the same for the product knowledge. Make everything easy for them to eliminate customer bad experience.

The UAE comprises of nationals or locals, which are a minority, and the large expatriate population- arab or otherwise. Moreover, customer service personnel should wear appropriately modest attire and observe a decorum/behaviour with respect to the islamic tradition, and laws of the UAE.
