If your junior in that field , try to practice with ur own over and over again, then you'll become better , to be honest if u love this field of designing u'll became proff. soonkindest regards,,,
Car compaies have their own R & D department. All you can do is impress any company with your stunning design and try getting into any company.
best of luck..
AutoCAD is enough for Auto Industry.
Learn3D and FEM Tools.
Catia is Best. Other potential tools are: SolidWorks, Inventor, SolidEdge, ProE.
FEM Tools are Ansys (Mainly in Automobile Field) & Nastran (Aviation Field
)
For entry into Automobile industries first of all it's required some background in Automobile Engineering. It's very good that you know2D as well3D modelling. But required some knowledge in Automobile so you can join as a trainee in some Automobile industry to get some practical experiences in Designing.
i think u need to used CATIA and ProE because in autocad some complex parts dimensional data for production purpose may be very complicated as compared to said softwares. So please refer to the said softwares and hopefull that will be a good solution.
Sory late for answered
But If interested, let's make the car ...
To be able to make the car fast, it takes only has a plug-in Multicar.exe which can be obtained from the original site (www.3dmulticar.com) or you just download the software here Multicar1.1_demo.rar For this demo version you were given only4 models cars are sedans, SUVs, minivans and Roaster.
Everything that can be made in a matter of minutes even seconds.
Even more cool again ya, car model we've created can be modified according to our wishes with the facilities that have been provided as well.
The steps that should be run as follows:
1. After you download the software Multicar1.1_demo.rar,
then install and follow the prompts until the installation is complete ... easy and fast.
2. Open3D programs3D Studio Max or Viz you.
Plug-ins can be used in3DS max versi5 and6
But here I use the3D Viz4.
Cool....As have got great bingo on it, well the qualification, the softwares, the exprience, the creativity all lot of things......autocad2d &3d thats all the basic you can get....theres more advanced programs, qualification least matters, but concepts matters all, you should get on to know the basics of various componenents, its functions, its working ( i should say its so vast to learn all of it atleast about engines, chasis, radiator, transmission, drive chain and steering), then comes creativity...that ofcourse softwares can help, there is a catch to it, theres some theory realated to component design, where some are openly available some not, it can be found in something called design of machines (DOM) and design data hand book ( the DOM gives the procedure to go about and use formula and design data hand book the formulas to be used according to various situations), then i should say catia is the best the pro-e then comes Unigraphic (UGX) so u can make a model (eg if your making a shaft for the transmission usually the diameter of the shaft is taken into the consideration and then related to making other parts related to it like bearings can be2.5 times the diameter of shaft- this is done with the help of DOM and Design data hand booka and SAE codes), after that, there's one more aspect thats reviewing the design thats called analysis, done with software or windtunnel test, by using ansys or hypermesh you can check the stregth of the design find flaws the stress strain points etc, and some softweres are there for fluid analysis if u have hydrolauic system involved, and finally this drawings can be rendered in some3d software if you want more clarity and animation else catia and pro-e can do3d. Then getting into any automotive company requires experience in auto workshop, dealership and there is a easy way out you can go to india and do design course and apply for small design companies which deliver drawings for larger firms and car company and gain experience of about3-5 years and then land up in big company. Well if u dont have automobile you can get through with mechanical, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, and automotive electricals and electronics desingers are also seeked out for compaines...
GO FOR CATIA V5. ESPICIALLY GENERATIVE SHAPE DESIGN IN CATIA
i advice u to use CATIA prog.
apply for a designer job in auto industry......
Catia rules car, airpalnes, vessels, trains, almost evertything that moves.
