Cambridge and Oxford are the UK's most famous Universities. what are their equivalents in the Middle East?

Al-Azhar in Egypt and Madinah University in Saudi Arabia are the best Universities in their subjects.

I would say Alazhar University in Egypt and the American University in Lebanon would be the equivalents.

,During the History of Human being , There was alot of rises and collapses of several civilizations . During the rise of Arab civilization , Europe was just living in darkness that was1300 years back . we cannot deny that the  current prevailing civilization  is endendered from europe . But I have an opinion over here that science and knowledge has no nationality or border . it is resposibility of All countries to improve the Human being Knowledge -it is like Peace  -a global resposibility.  i hope you will find answer why Afirca has no progress why still there is people under the poverty line . what are you willing to do for that world .
