Facilities Management
For me, its a YeS!
Beacause if facilities is purely concerened, a maintenance engineeer couldnt be found hard if the tools and facilities are there and comlete. As far as i know, that u can never get the best results in whatever effort you had made not unless you are supported by the things you are in need of. SO, in order for every human to be successful in what they do, they must have first to be a knowledgeable person that can able to manage and perform the task being given and assigned.
Yes, In my view facilites Managment is the easiest and best option for any maintenance Engineer the one can do its best in this field
The usage of Facility Management is growing and so is the requirement of the manitenance enginners.
Nowadays most of the companies are outsorcing their support requirement to curtail their overhead expenditure. By appointing a dedicated resource for the support and maintenance of one equipment the company will engage a portion of it's overhead expenditure towards the resource who might not be required all the time to monitor the equipment, so by appointing a resource will invite expenditure on the idle manhour. Again a resource appointed by the company will always be a liability for the orgnization.
So, companies have started providing specialized managed services to the users of equipment which actually caters to their specific needs. The accontabilty towards a signed SLA is more than an employment agreement.
Thus Facilty Management is one of the most promising career for a Maintenance Engineer.
