Which command is functionally used to acquire for Area?

option1

Area to be calculated must be a boundary.

type "AA" area

press "O" object it will give u the area.

option2

if it is a hatch click that hatch type "mo" for properties. it  will show u the area.

option3

type li for list.

click object. it will give u all the info of that object.

u can use area command for faster boundry selection 

you can also use boundary or hatch then click on it to view its properties

REGION command will make area from closed polylines
