What's the difference between the market and marketing?

As the people above answered, a market is a place where buys and selllers meets to exchange goods, in short, trade. However, marketing explain and define how to sell your product, by which means, and a common way to do so, is by analysing the4P's, which are Price, Product, Place and Promotion.

A market is any space within which trade takes place between buyers and sellers for a well defined product.

Marketing is all those activities that facilitate trade.

Market is the place where all the products are displayed, Marketing is the action taken to show the customer the value he might have if he got these products.
