It depends on company and life style. If you are the part of multinational company with experience you can enjoy better life style and save money for your family. There is no limit to say enough money.

Whitout having an accurate estimation of mean salaries in middle east, I can tell you that numbers provided by Edwin are far below reality.
For exemple, offers through manpower like companies is around2-3K USD.
For the rest, it is close to reality :)

Dear Dana,
Depending on how you define "enough money" and the lifestyle you currently lives on or dreams to live on, the answer to your question can be either a Yes or a No.
As far as i can tell from working in the Middle East, which you can define as an Arab World, Telecom Engineers earn between a low of SAR2000/Month to a High of maybe SAR50K/Month depending on your technical expertise, your relevant experience, the company you will join and maybe a bit of luck when you are searching for a job.
Entry level telecom engineers with1-2yrs experience hired by many contractors/subcontractors via manpower staffing agencies initially offer a low of SAR2K-3K/month salary with bachelor accommodation, free transport to/from ofc or jobsite, free government medical insurance, tools of the trade, and trainings as required. Food though is generally included in your salary package.
If you get lucky, that you joined a multinational company, a telecom vendor, or integrator, or big name consultancy firms, the pay can be multiples of2-5 times that of the above mentioned rate plus other benefits like family status, a car, educational plan etc.
If you are in the managerial level and get lucky to be employed with state owned corporations or telcos or vendors, your monthly salary is upward of USD4K/month plus whatever you negotiate with the employer.
Considering that employers also consider which country you are coming from, of course, engineers from countries like USA, UK, France and other develop countries tend to command higher salary packages compared to those engineers hired from developing countries like in Asia even when the experience is in parity or even better.
Going back to your question of earning enough money as a telecom engineer in the Arab World? To answer positively, YES you can... but you have to make it happen. Not all job offers are alike. Specialize in current and developing technologies, and develop a wide network of professional friends who can point you in the right opportunity. Most of the time, the job that pays a lot of bucks come from referral from your friends.
Enjoy life Dana! Success will pursue you when you prepare yourself more than the other guy for the job. Opportunity knocks only once as the saying goes, but chance favors only the prepared mind!
Good luck!
