I think there is no difference between girls and boys regarding this: but actually I am more interested in interactive students.
Field independent which includes male students
Where I work there is very little to choose between the two, being a specialist college for youngsters on the Autistic Spectrum, it is less about gender but more about how their particular "syndrome" presents itself. By way of explanation I would suggest and certainly within my experience youngsters with OCD will demonstrate the same behaviour patterns in everything they do, including schoolwork, the OCD being the dominant "ingredient" in their lives and overriding gender. The one occasion when the boys and girls are on a level playing field, so to speak! I picked OCD as an example but the same can be applied to ADHD, PDA etc.
