Surly yes. motivation play a great role in every cultural project.

For learning to take place there must be a wilful learner and a wilful trainer highly motivated to teach and learn. Deal with the morale first otherwise if motivation gets low and untreated, it can lead to learning for the sake and not for use. High retention of knowledge, skills and psychomotor can only occur when the learning environment is one that enhances motivation to the trainer and to the trainee/learner.
