A. WordPress B. Joomla C. Drupal D. Other Why?
Wordpress Because its easy and scalable , its just miss conception wordpress is for blogging only or for mid size web site i myself work on Wordpress Based Job site which handle1 million page views day, and also wordpress.com hosted setup based on1500 Servers which handle few big sites which even serve more then100 million pages views month.
Drupal is extremely powerful but its more like a Framework if other then wordpress i have to chose anything its definately Drual
Joomla fans dont mind but as per me Joomla is simple obselete thing
Every CMS have its features and where is the best to use it but for me I prefer JOOMLA. Joomla is so easy to use, as a Web designer or developer, you can quickly build sites for your clients. Then, with a minimal amount of instruction, you can empower your clients to easily manage their own sites themselves. also joomla have a lot of things that can do like:- Corporate Web sites or portals, Corporate intranets and extranets, Online magazines, newspapers, and publications, E-commerce and online reservations, Government applications, Small business Web sites ,Non-profit and organizational Web sites, Community-based portals, School and church Web sites, Personal or family homepages etc.
for me joomla is the best but it depends on the users Requirement and there are several factore to determine which cms is suit for you like ease of use, feature, security , Learning curve for example wordpreess is best for blogging and small site and it is easy to setup require less thechnical skill than other but if you consider Drupal it very powerfull and complex than joomla and wordpress personally i prefer joomla becouse it powerfull, less complex and it has plenty of extension and templet avaliable for it
its depend onm your needs ,
to explain :
if want only a new or blog portal i will go with WordPress
If i want e commerce solutions i will go with magento
If i want Good And Well Strucutre multi perpose CMS i will go with Drupal ,
:S I don't like Joomla :D
It depends upon your skills. Wordpress is pretty easy but Joomla offered more.
Overall its upon demand and skills you have.
Dear Khatim,
Drupal: is the granddaddy of CMS systems on this list – it was first released in early2001. Like WordPress and Joomla, Drupal too is open-source and based on PHP-MySQL.
Joomla is an open-source content management software forked from Mambo. It is one of the most popular CMS solutions in the world and boasts over30m downloads to date. Joomla powers such noteworthy sites as Cloud.com, Linux.com, etc.

It depend on your need , each cms has it owns functionality .
If you want a blog site then wordpress is the best , if normal website for a company you can use joomla or drupal .. but note that drupal is more flexible to override his functionality
There is also a cms called PyroCMS , simple to work with .
Simply it's depend on the developer, it's all can be used for same by the modules and plugins you can build anything you need.
As a developer I worked on different CMS based web sites and I found Wordpress better because of thousands of plugins (pre-written programs) that can increase the functionality of an out-of-the-box blog software, mobile readiness , easily changeable site layout and appearance, ultimate in SEO friendliness and social networking friendliness.
Cheers!
I don't consider Wordpress as a CMS from developer's point of view. The biggest problem of Wordpress is that it's not object oriented. You can't take this problem lightly, and people who say that it's scalable then please define scalability. Joomla and Drupal are good CMS examples but Drupal requires ample amount of time to understand it's core functionality. When it comes to choosing between this two i check the reuirements of the client and choose the CMS accordingly.I hope this answers the question.
