I do not know about Egypt dear Gehan, but the same is happening here in Greece. The problem is I think, that world is still believing in stereotypes and they aren't taking the risk of giving women managers more opportunities to prove their value. According to the latest research resalts, women can cope better from men during crisis'situations. I do not agree with the point of view, that women are softer from men. A manager is a manager and when it's going to be a tough but unavoidable decision then he or she is going to take it. The bottom truth is that our society, in global terms, is controlled by men, so according to a greek saying "he, who's got the watermelon, has also got the knife". So, it's not a surprise that men are keaping the high profile jobs for themselves and surely don't want to share the power!
