Currently I use Salvation data products to perform data recovery however the tools are limited in only being able to recover upto1TB and do not have USB3 support. In order to recover from these I utilise r-studio in combination with the hardware. Do you advise switching to PC30 or is there any other data recovery product that I can utilise to recover from modern drives? Thanks.

You need to consider your RTO(recovery time objective). If using the current solution meets your objective, then it should be fine. Most of the solutions out there may not meet your objective exactly. Are you doing remote back ups?
Hi,
Thanks for your reply :)
Remote data recovery is possible utilising R-studio network edition or above. My own remote backup's are performed routinely on cloud storage.
The problem with salvation data products are that they connected to the main workstation via USB2 with no support for USB3. Standard external drives such as Western Digital (awful, recommend Seagate due to have3 system areas instead of2, very reliable) with the larger capacity come as USB3, currently to utilise the hardware (salvation data - Data Compass Premium) the USB3 board is disconnected from the PCB to allow for a SATA connection. USB2 drives are hassle free as you can perform firmware operations and data recovery through the system. However, the secondary problem, such as not being able to support greater than1TB drives is critical. Do you know if PC3000 supports greater than1TB Drives? I have a good library of ROM, Firmware modules for drives, would this be compatible with PC3000 or any other more compitent hardware solution?
You are doing well. PC30 is ok but there may be need to use software solutions. In your disaster recovery architecture do you also have remote backups?. For the USB3 issue where is the data coming from?
