There are many companies that look for people but also there are many people that look for jobs.Also there are many jobs that are never published in the internet.The key is to know what you are doing. search with the right way, and have very good public relations.
usually it is because of mismatch of applicant and the job opening. most of the qualified persons for that particular vacant post aim higher positions with more attractive salary package.

Current market is over-whelmed with un employed professionals and starving hard to come out of recession. Every organisation's main moto is cost cutting and primary stage is reduction of man power. None of the company would like to increase their expenses by hiring extra man power.
But it doesn't mean that you will have to disappoint with these situation. Many organisations are still searching for multi talented professionals who should be acquainted with multi skills and can contribute in company's interest. your profile is excellent, keep on struggling you will get better option. Prominent is to enter into corporate sector after that you can make your pave.

I think this is a worthwhile question. I believe there are many reasons:
-Websites are chokeful with CVs. They care to build up their data base and have more than enough CVs to show to the paying employer or company. They care to pamper their customer- i.e. the employer.
-These websites are not updated properly. They keep CVs of people who are no longer active job seekers and keep job vacancies posted long after they have been filled.
-Due to the uprecedented huge number of CVs, now like commodities, employers rely on crude computer filters to shortlist candidates, thus missing out on potentially excellent candidates.
-Unfortunately, these days, unemployment is almost everywhere. There is more labor supply than demand. That is why employers have become very choosey. On the other hand, the job seeker is under immense pressure to do everything he can to land a job: refine his CV, write one-of-a-kind cover letter,stand head and shoulders above the crowd, get to know the company and key personnel prior to interviewing, learn the ropes of job interviewing, network, etc. All of this is shocking, stressfull, and disgusting to the job seeker, who after having painstakingly done all of his homework, may still not land the job.One wonders what kind of job seeking is this!
This is a very difficult question really. I feel curious to try answer it. See, we have to believe first that Allah, the God who gives and takes. We believe to in our destinies. I think this question classified as a part of destiny.
Sure, we do with reasons. Believing that a chance is coming to you even if become late. Also, you have to be curios and search the suitable job for you. It's will be more better if you know someone there in that comany to help you.

Lack of professionalism and equal opportunity status , Jobs are having preferences over people and reservation criterion . Talent are not evaluated based on competencies , mostly based on recommendations and that is why there is in-equality of talent and job perfection , thereby leading to loss due to improper resource selection
Because unfortunately this is how the system work specially where there is less objective people in the crowd.
