Except the minor Spatial scale adjustment or coordinate transformation errors one can easily understand the Land use Change through the Spatial Models and Analysis. For example, if you can collect different version of Google earth and aggregate some shape files (roads, buildings, impervious, green zone, watersheds) and compare then it can be easily assess that how Land use Changes periodically.

the analysis and representation of data is very close to the reality because there is so many error reduction used for correcting the coordinates and the offset and so on.
