the comparison is wrong at the first place

it is not either laminated or tempered!

it culd be laminated and tempered at the same time

you can compare tempered by heat strengthen or annealed

anyway. tempered glass is a heat treated glass tobe4-5 times stronger than annealed glass, considered tobe safe glass in the international norms

laminated glass is something else, two single panes joinedtogether with a lamination layer could be solid or raisin. it isconsidered100% safe and usuallyused for skylights, airports and other places

Two layers or more of glass are sandwiched with a laminate in order to create this sturdy variety. The laminate is the reason why the pieces are held together when it is broken. The chances of injuries are minimized because the glass tends to be in the frame and a lot of other features such as using the lamination of multible layers to create bullet resistance glass.

Tempered glass heat treated glass and  is almost5 to times stronger when compared to its not tempered counterpart. One very noticeable quality of this type is that it breaks down into small granular pieces rather than sharp shards.

Both glass are known as safety glass but laminated glass is more safe then Tempered like windscreen of the car where it is tempered and laminated

the difference is the laminated glass is made with2 float glasses i presence of film in between, in case of any impact the film hold the broken glass to fell down causing incident, otherwise the tempered glass  is heated over600 degrees and then shot with cold air it causes molecular changes. The outer surface becomes harder than inner material. As a result glass shatters into tiny fragments when broken.

Both glass are known as safety glass. When glass is heated over600 degrees and then shot with cold air it causes molecular changes. The outer surface becomes harder than inner material. As a result glass shatters into tiny fragments when broken.

During lamination two sheets are bonded together with plastic inner layer known as polyvinyl butyral.

1-Tempered Glass is made toughened after heating on 700 degree. After tempering strength of glass is 5 times more than non tempered glass ie. 5mm tempered glass strength will be 5 time more stronger than 5mm noon tempered.

2- And Laminated glass is made sandwich by coating layer of rubber/film to make it safety glass.

tempered glass is one leayer glass only , lamination glass is2 or3 tempered glass with1.52 pvb

Tempered glass or processed glass is similar to oven glass sheets inside kitchen.

Laminated glass could be made of2 sheets of flat processed glass in addition to a thin film of another material to produce a controllable feature of new glass sheet; could be for more safety, strength, reflection, heat ot light protection.

To understnad the difference between the two first you need to undertsnad their properties and application, and the way it is being produced. Before I can answer I'd like to know what promted you to write this question?
