NO way, being jealous you cannot do a healthy competition. Jealous bring hatred, dislike-ness, and hate never bring good results even in professional life........

No, Jelousy always play negative role in teamwork. Positive competition between team members is good and ends up with execellent results (Positive competition is far more different topic than jelousy)

In general, I see jealosy as a negative feeling. Team member need to cooperate to achieve the highest productivity levels and jealousy will most probably destroy that attitude. Imagin if your right hand is gealous from your left!

In some Extent Yes it is good! But it depend on how you Use to it! But s ome competitiveness could be good as it can push people to do better, and some people tend to do better under pressure.
However being overly competitive isn't good because it's true, they are comparing themselves to other people constantly and if they don't meet those standards, they will see themselves as inferior and there will be less productivity if a person feels this way.One always strives to beat the other person in productivity regardless of quality.
I think sharing the workload equally and supporting each other could be more productive then being competitive.

There is a fine difference between jealousy and competition! Competition is always welcome, but not jealousy which eventually leads to sour relationships.

Jealousy is a raw human emotion created when a person feels insecure or anxious about his importance or value to other people.
When jealousy occurs in the office, it puts a strain on relationships and causes problems.
Workers could side with one employee over another, which leads to office gossip, sabotage and even bullying.
As an employer, recognizing what causes jealousy in the workplace is the first step to eliminating it.

Jealousy if taken positively will have a better impact in the organization or in productivity. For example, worker1 is jealous with his co-worker2 for having accomplish2 sets of complete research paper which the Boss was very proud of. In this case, due to that worker1, promise to himself that he will do likewise, whenever the Boss instructed him to do so. This attitude creates a stimulus effect to him given the situation of worker2. Otherwise, jealousy has a negative effect which is oftentimes it has.
