Some factors to consider is that you will have to look out is the plan design, it's wedge, the wheels, the packaging and of course the rules and regulations that will adhere. I'm not an expert and an engineer by course but due to my passion, I do Automotive design and motorcycle design thru clay in my Home. Just for fun and like what i have said, my passion all to automotive.

The basic consideration would be lowering the centre of gravity, secondly aerodynamics, low co-eff of friction. selection of material for enduring the structural design.
