As a Web Developer, what is your tools set to develop websites?

As to develop a php website : 

1- You need editor tool / IDE  such as netbeans or eclipse .

2- You may need also dreamweaver  if u prefer to work only on html . 

3- Server  such as xampp or wampp  

As on ASP you will need to use visual studio .net and install server IIS 

I am a Frontend Web Developer and use Windows machine here is my development workflow.

1. Sublime Text Editor (recently playing with Visual Studio Code)
2. Gulpjs to automate tasks like css minification, sass compilation, uploading to server etc etc
3. Bower to quickly add packages like jQuery, bootstrap
4. Photoshop to work with mockup.

I prefer to use the following combination: (if you plan to develop websites based on open source)

1- Live shared hosting (instead of using XAMPP or WAMPP) linux-based equipped with CPanle. You will eliminate a lot of bugs/issues if you use this method to overcome client-server communication, webpages renders, ....

2- CMS - personally I prefer Opencart for online marketplace and Joomla for any other online service

3- Sublime Text2 - as code editor

I preferred to use CMS Wodpress, Joomla which allows clients to update their posts easily.

When Coming to Other developments I generally use TextWrangler (HTML, CSS, JS, PHP), MAMP Server.

There are so many tool set that you can use for web development lik if you are working with ASP then, first you need visual studio and then image slider tool like "jslider", color picker tool like jcpicker or screen color picker etc, photo editor tool like photoshop etc.

What I use for my development:

- Netbeans and DreamWeaver

- Xampp or Vertrigo as appache server.
