First quality should be assured by methed statement for each activity together with detailed baseline schedule showing clearly sequence of work and including inspection activities, shop drawings submittals , material submittals, manpower and equipments .
The Quality control tools are:
1- Inspection requests for approval before start of the next activities .This should be done after approval of shop drawings , method statement, material .
2- Site instruction for any technical requirements or any change in the scope .
3- None conformance report if any violation in quality has been occured for any activity.
4- All required tests to be done for all works executed for example in concrete structure concrete crushing tests should be done to insure that work match the concrete desin strength another example compaction tests and soil classification tests should be done for backfilling soil layers. Tests for block used in walls ( weight, dimension, strength ...) and so on .
Periodically meetings with QA/QC teem should be held to insure that work in activities is going on as per project contract conditions, specification , approved drawings and bill of quantities.
Set clear quality cheet that check daily by the quality team supervisor
One thing make the points and the control which can be applied through any condations the project can face it in worth time before the best time.
