Are you ready to change your specialty for higher salary ?

If hidden potential is identified and ignited to perform in the said speciality then it's worth.

It depends on the financial situations of the person. The person might be the only one responsible for supporting his family. They would sacrifice their happiness for their  love ones.

 

Higher salary does not always guarantee happiness.

for higher salary people can change their area, country, professional attitude,,,,, speciality is a smaller thing in this context.

Maybe, yes. But the question is: do I WANT to change my specialty and CAN I change it that easily for the sale of a higher salary? Also, will this higher salary compensate in the long term for choosing a less favourable specialty or will it result in me working without (or with less) passion and being in the look for a new one soon? "Luckily", my specialty isn't medicine and change won't be such a drastic decision.

If you're moving to a job you like to do then yes absolutely. But if you're changing careers for the sake of money and money only then no. Of course, the financial situation and needs of the person affects this decision tremendously so no generalization intended.

Love what you do & do what you love!

This depends on the extent of my experience and efficiency in this specialization

Before looking for the higher salary, you have to ask you3questions

1-can you do the new job

2-will you do the job

3-can you work as a part of the new group

if your answers is yes , you can shift , as it is not a matter of careers switch for higher salary , but it is a matter of new challenge you have to succeed in

Sure i m interested for a higher salary causing i have been17 years experience in the work especially in the field of administration , and in lebanon haven't an appreciating to the employees ,,,,, i prefer to work outside lebanon because the owners company /or the employers appreciate his employees .

IF earning good with respect then definitely no. But otherwise earning Money is my Speciality. 

The answer differ from person to another according to the NEEDS of each one.
