•Relationship with boss
Employees don’t need to be friends with their boss but they need to have a relationship. The boss provides direction and feedback, spends time in one-to-one meetings, and connects the employee to the larger organization
•Bored and unchallenged by the work itself
No one wants to be bored and unchallenged by their work. They spend more than a third of their days working, getting ready for work, and transporting themselves to work
•Relationships with co-workers
One of the12 factors that illuminate whether an employee is happy on their job is having a best friend at work. Relationships with coworkers retain employees.
•Opportunities to use skills and abilities
If an employee can’t see a path to continued growth in their current organization, they are likely to look elsewhere for a career development or promotion opportunity
•Contribution of work to the organization’s business goals
Employees need to feel connected and that they are part of an effort that is larger than just their job.
Relationship with management/ manager/ supervisor/ leader
No growth/advancement
Low salary and benefits.
Don't like the idea of having female as their boss
Better opportunities elsewhere
I don't think so that we have to have separate answer for MEN and WOMEN, employees are employees irrespective of their gender. Several research has been done which clearly indicate that employees don't leave their companies, they leave their bosses! Other than that are employee disengagement, non-supportive boss/management and less chances of growth and movement are few major causes of higher turnover. Usually, it has been consider that due to salary individual left which is not true. Most of the time employees left due to non-financial reason primarily.

Better job opportunities & better prospects
Management not respecting commitments

1) Ego problems !!! I think this one is enough as the base of all reasons.
