Are you asking about "productivity" of the employee as a measurement of the performance to evaluete and appraise the employee ?

If this is what you are asking about, then let me add "profitability" as another measure of evaluating employee performance  !!

Both productivity and profitability need to be defined clearly and agreed upon by the employees and their management so as to avoid conflicts during the appraisal !
