1. to prevent breakdowns
2. to keep it cool
3. to prevent system failure.
Computer cooling is required to remove the waste heat produced by computer.:)
This is a very common and comented problem especially with core quad and more.
Esencially you need a great cooling so your CPU-s and Ram dont burn the motherboard out of overheating by its natuaral work.
If your CPU-s are overheated they dont performe well, eventually your BIOS will shut down the system from preventing furture damage when the temperature of your CPU's reach a certain temperature.
For me top preventation is a question of either the manifacturure if you are using AMD or Intel core and the way the configuration was assmbled. When being configured people should have in mind the overheatting and have aditional external fans, or wiquid cooling systems.
The BIGEST PROBLEM IS that most fans are maid in China and cost2$ but sadly the quality is al so very poor.
A system consist of processor, many IC chip set on motherboard. Each IC in system is made of more than thousand of transistor which produce heat while its operating.
Transistor has switching characteristic which help in producing digital data0 &1.
ON state produce digital data1.
OFF state produce digital data0.
Heat is a important factor which affect the Processor operation,IC operation and even cause burn in ICs.
So cooling is more important
like humans who when working, running produces sweat which is as a result of heat generated between the muscles. most often they need water so as to keep them cool so that they can have resistant to continue running or working.if the body fails to produce the heat generated the individual might not have the energy to continue running or working
so it is with computers, because they perform multitask within seconds they produce heat and therefore need cooling to keep them working for longer hours if not most firmwares and hard wares on the motherboard may be damage. like cpu, ic, etc
it should be noted that overheating kills computer systems faster than any other fault
Like any device require power, the power is converted to heats, and so high temperature require cooling system ! Specially for old systems with big CPU dies built using big process like90nm for the P4.
Because it is the manufacturer's recommendation
To avoid damage of the computer
To avoid loss of data as a result of damage to the computer
Hello,
According to Joule`s law, when a current is passing through a conductor, this creates heat.
A heated conductor is capable to let less current to pass through.
In our case, computers requires cooling in order to:
-increase performance
-to prevent system failure
-to prevent melting internal parts like CPU which can reach over100`C for modern ones
- Removing the waste heat produced by computer components.
- Keeping the components within permissible operating temperature limits.
- The size of the PC can be a main thing for heating or cooling.
