This question reminded me of Albert Einstein quote that says “Imagination is more important than knowledge. For knowledge is limited to all we now know and understand, while imagination embraces the entire world, and all there ever will be to know and understand.” Personally, I believe the two are inter-dependent and each one contribute at least partially to the other. Creativity/imagination has background in knowledge or is the use of knowledge because knowledge includes information, expertise and know how that we use when we do something but when we want to do something new we need new ideas or imagination.
Skill to use the knowledge for better cause and sharing knowledge.
Curiousity and creativity! I think that these are the steps for knowledge and they also can help a person in his/her life in general.
Infact very good quistion? and this is third time i have faced this quistion. What i have heard and think is that imagination is more powerful and important than knowledge. You have knowledge but you do not have the the powerful wealth of imagination, you may not be able to do or change anything around you necause knowledge is always embedded within imagination. And it helps to gather useful information from our memory. i hope this satisfies you.

Imagination is more important than knowledge. its dynamic nature. Knowledge facilitates community and continuity imagination facilitates the change.
At the marketing point of view you need knowledge and experience to think effectively. Imagination or thinking is unlimited applying appropriately for each case is efficiency
Without wisdom, we cannot gain knowledge, as if we think we know something, we will stop looking for it. Therefore, wisdom is more important, as knowledge only develops after we have achieved wisdom.
