Actually, core values of the companies cannot be described in questions or answers, what we see on papers are merely black line written on white papers.
But the companies have values that can be seen in the employee satisfaction level, customer satisfaction level and social satisfaction levels.
one big question,,, not from employer but from employees,, how they feel working with this company ?
In my opinion, we need to ask ourselves
1. What is important to us (in terms of values)?
2. What we wish to be known for?
3. What is it that we need to strive for?
4. How can we reach where we want or aim to be.
People involved in articulating the core values need to answer several questions:
· What core values do you personally bring to your work? (These should be so fundamental that you would hold them regardless of whether or not they were rewarded.)
· What would you tell your children are the core values that you hold at work and that you hope they will hold when they become working adults?
· If you awoke tomorrow morning with enough money to retire for the rest of your life, would you continue to live those core values?
· Can you envision them being as valid for you100 years from now as they are today?
· Would you want to hold those core values, even if at some point one or more of them became a competitive dis advantage?
· If you were to start a new organization tomorrow in a different line of work, what core values would you build into the new organization regardless of its industry?
The last three questions are particularly important because they make the crucial distinction between enduring core values that should not change and practices and strategies that should be changing all the time.
1. What products and/or services do you offer? Define the qualities of these services and/or products.
2. What are the core values of your products and services? What are the core values of your company?
3. What is the mission of your company?
4. What does your company specializes in?
5. Who is your target market? Who do your products and services attract?
6. What is the tagline of your company? What message does your tagline send to your prospects?
what is the vision of the company?
What is our company’s broader purpose or reason for existence (beyond making money)?
What contributions does our company make to the world?
What do we want be known for?
How do we want to treat people, whether they’re employees, customers, partners, or the public at large?
Why do we act the way we act and do the things we do?
The core value of the company is the people who are standing beyond this success of the company.
Question: What is the equation of benefit return to the employee owing to their efforts to achieve the company targets and goals?
What is the comapny's:
1- Mission.
2- Vision.
3- Strategy?
