Another technique is to use hand motions to express the verb if possible. Basically, the more comprehensible input that is used the easier the verb's meaning will be understood and retained.

By illustrating pictures and using ryhmes or simple lyrics that make the pupil intrigued and interested to learn more about the use of verbs in English, and to allow him or her to slowly, but surely, love the English language so that he or she could easily learn and understand it.
