WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT SKILLS NEEDED FOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER ?

Todays technological approach is entirely different & job specific, the skill in any field in this demanding & competative job environment is solely dependant upon the role of an employee. Nonetheless, general technical skills for an Electrical Engineer are; Maintenance (PM/CM) Management, basic troubleshooting in power, AC, DC & control, BMS, electrical dimentioning skills/softwares, basic design concepts etc. 

ability to solve the technical problems in the best way, with the lowest cost and the shortest time

The most Important skills are basic concept of electricals, Which include the knowledge of transformer, motor, transmission and distribution, switchgear, and finally control system. Also in the software may need knowledge of MAT LAB, AUTO-CAD Etc....

beside to acknowldgement of electrical & software program i think it is important for electrical engineer to improve the soft skills like time manegment & communication that help him to make him a great leader & agreat maneger

in my opinion I think the most important skill is to know basic concepts of Electric plus how electric & electronic components work & how to measure it .

 

electrical concept should be strong in basic level to higher level and We are should be aware of new technology also.

 to understand complicated theories and work with them

First of all Basic concepts of Electrical are required.. Then the Engineer should have good skills in Hardware and softwre design. Engineer should be ready to solve any problem occuring in industry.

 

an electrical engineer must have enough knowledge about all electrical equipments..... having knowledge about power generation and distribution......and well known about electrical wiring in commercial and industrial places......and he able to troubleshoot every problem in electric machines........

Electrical Engineers should not only acquired BSE and having knowledge of the electrical engineering principle but He must also have excellent background on actual installations at site. Technical combined with practical skills in the field of electrical engineering is very important which guided by the standard practices or regulations from the authority or international regulations. Having a great experience in Microsoft programs and other software which depends on your scope of work is a plus factor. Moreover he must be aware of the latest technological advances in electrical engineering and globally competitive!

Electrical Design skill is very necessary for an Electrical Engineer. Besides, he should be analytical-minded and a problem solver.
