What’s better, to work for a bad boss at a good company or a good boss at a weak company?

I would prefer a good boss at a weak company. Ultimately it's the people who run the company and good people collectively can build any company to become great.

Interesting questions. I am sure many of us have a lot of experience in this field and it would be nice to learn more on the subject in different studies. I personally believe in good managers but only in the short run as they in the long run can't possibly make up to the failures weak companies inevitably do. On the other hand a bad manager in a good and exellent companies can be a major risk If you are a subordinate that has to rely on his/hers decision making.

BOTH MATTERS,,, SOME MANAGERS ARE THAT BAD ,,THEY MOVE IN YOUR NERVES & HEAD,,, BETTER TO LEAVE THEM EVEN COMPANY IS GOOD.

I wonder whether a "bad boss" will be fit in a good company, and whether a "bad company" will manage to keep a good boss for long. If a junior, you'l learn a lot from a good boss, if an experienced prof you'l naturally aim for a good employer, trusting in your "experienced ability" to manage bad bosses (whatever "bad" herein means).

Where i can learn and grow more , i ll go for good company. Life is not easy so Bad boss ll keep reminding you that. Learning curve and exposure the most important for me.

its good to work for a bad boos for good company because one can come o know about performance performed while doing a job and he will believe slowly in him.

there is nothing special to work with bad boss in good company,he'll ruin the company,And with good bose in weak company,it's the place where we can learn hard work,can face the challenge. 

Working for a good company is better,Bad boss doent stay longer in good company if we work hard we can be the boss in good company.
