I think bad publicity is quite frightening for people with integrity. A PR nightmare for any socially responsible company and for its employees. However, we also see that quite a few people embrace it with glee.

Personally, I would take no publicity only, please. Thank you!

Bad publicity is the one l will go for.My reasons seeem rather odd.Reasonable people will read between the lines and see sense. We can fool some people sometimes but not everyone always.Basing my luck on this,l know l will be cleansed and emerge victorious and clean.

Remaining silent when something untoward happens to a client is the worst thing you can do. Every bad bit of publicity can be turned around; think of all the times we've read about when a company responds well to a complaint online. Sending out a holding statement in the event of an unplanned situation, an emergency or other unforeseen event keeps the media at bay, and gives you time to further work out exactly how to deal with the situation. In the event of bad publicity, silence is not golden.

That's a nice slogan. But, no, I can't choose like that until I can determine the meaning and EXTENT of "bad". Bad can be a silly allegation, a misunderstanding went public, an easily refuted accusation, a temporary hype OR one that'll will always be attached to my (company's or professional) name. What if my works provides me with all satisfaction I want without publication, would I want "bad publication" to ruin that for me. It's very relative. If I'm an anonymous writer (or an entertainment celebrity) then in most real life cases, any form of publication will be an advertisement of my publication (or my existence as a celebrity).

I'd choose NO PUBLICITY.  I cannot afford my reputation or my work to be tainted with malicious propaganda.  There is so much more to myself (or product/service I am promoting) than spreading inappropriate publicity.

well in my opinion Bad publicity, as it will flash your name atleast

  • When u are a monopoly or a producer of an essential commodity u do not have to spend on publicity. But u have to learn from bad publicity. U have to act upon complaints about quality of products and services. Even government deps now a days have to act on bad publicity as critisism can go viral on the social media.
  • But when u have competitors u cannot do witout publicity. And u have to always take care of detractors. People who are dissatisfied. Some companies have a CUSTOMER LOYALITY MANAGER TO TAKE CARE OF de tractors so that they do not add to negetive publicity.
