Effective delegation is not just giving employees more work to do, although sometimes there is more work to do.
I don't think it is. It i one technique but there tasts that can't be delegated and usually work capacities are calculated for each team member to carry out his/her tasks.
Management is all about managing the affairs in most suitable and beneficial manner. Delegation is just one of the means by which things can be managed in better ways.
