Does wealth maximization contradict other corporate objectives?

Not necessarily ... and it is not the thing itself ... but the means (way) to reach this thing !!

So if you can maximize your wealth without any conflict of interest with the corporate and your obligations towards the corporate, then go ahead ... who will stop you ??

Having said that ... there is a fine line separating what is legal (in this matter) and what is not   from one side, and what is ethical or professional and what is not   !! 

I personally prefer to be legal, ethical and professional at the same time !!
