Aseptic homogenization is when processing in a controlled area meeting class A requirements, concernig air velocity, air cleanless (using HEPA filters), temperature, humdity, viable and non viable particulates... Material used shall be sterile, aseptic behavior shall be applied and followed, equipments and every tool used shall be sterile too in order to ensure aseptic processing and preventing any single contamiation.
While Non aseptic homogenization can be done in a less controlled area, there is a bioburden limit for viable count of the air even bulk ans material used same for the non viable count.
