The answer is a big no. When at home one is at a relaxed mood. It is better to slog12-14 hours at office than work from home.
You never know when the call would come. You could be having a lunch , taking a bath, sleeping and even driving and u have to stop all you activity and answer the call. Start your laptop and start working. It is very bad for health. Both physical and mental. But sometimes u have to do it to meet dead lines.
It should not be possible because of our HR department does not permit it. If anyone needs to work in any emergencies situation that shold be approved his or her supervisor or Country Director, otherwise it would be counted absnce his or her work station. I want to add a comment as normal work hour HR does not go to the approve work from home. It cannot value add to the organization for work from home due to staff involve personal work at their home.
If there was a option of working from home during the week, I would say yes. I know working from home is more relaxing and distraction but sometimes you need that to get away from the stress and pressure at workplace.
It’s not preferable to do work from home. At home can’t focus on work properly and it may affect the productivity.
