A teacher's personality can influence a student's "take" on a lesson, a teacher who can make a lesson enjoyable whilst still imparting knowledge will both enhance the learning experience and instil a "feel good" factor. Conversely a teacher whose lessons are notoriously "dull" and delivered in a "monotone" can dampen a student's enthusiasm and have a negative effect on their ability to absorb knowledge and can sometimes be quite depressing.

I have learned from my experience as a teacher that students who are enthusiastic and hard working pay high attention to the teacher's personality. How he/she talks and behaves in different scenarios? Thay make the teacher theri ideal or a role model if they deem fit to respect that person.
