Warren Buffet places integrity above intelligence and energy when seeking new hires.
Integrity checking is one of the factors but its importance varies in accordance with the job description and the role/responsibilities/authorities/previliges to be placed with this person if he/she takes the named position !!
Sir
I think a person who has knowledge and inteligence but no integrity is a dangerous person
yes ofcourse.
Yes integrity is more important or else the employee would be a black mole.
Integrity reflects the morals, character, honesty and loyalty of the employee towards the employer and its stakeholders. It is valued above the skills and knowledge. An employee with high levels of skills and knowledge but poor integrity can adversely harm the reputation apart from apart from technical, financial and legal, market and other direct & indirect losses to the company.
Yes. Integrity is non-negotiable. This is an integral part of an individual. A person with integrity can be trusted at all times and this will also reflect on his works.
Integrity should be given due weightage. It is not always recomended above skills and knowledge.
How do we determine an individuals level of integrity at the interview stage when at best the interviews may only last up to60 minutes. Plenty can be said during the interview process to lead the interviewer to feel that the individuals integrity level is high and is geared towards the new company applied too. I believe like most others that integrity is extremely important however does it rate above skills and experience during the interview process. My feel is that it does not.
