Training Activity can be separated from HR? Will it be possible?

Yes I think Training unit needs to separate from HR department because Training unit will work as a specialized department to organize, conduct, facilitate and evaluation of the training prgram.

Yes, Training activity can very well be separated from HR, So that it can be taken care of in better way with the help of domain / subject experts starting from TNA to delivery. Of course HR must be in the scene and coordinate and support the whole process for better implementation and achivement of the training objective. 

 

Becasue, HR itself  can neither do the TNA nor it can deliver the required training itself. It has to take the help of domain / subject expert in both the above mentioned case and for everything else in between.

It is advisable to not to do so as HR has evolved over the years from merely being a personnel spport function to a revenue generating critical function. In doing so HR has assumed well the most critical responsibility of developing the human resources of the organization. An HR can better understand business objectives than any other function and hence can better shape the human capital to meet these objectives.
