Some studies says that more and more people reading e- books ( ipad). Print books? Looks like only students, teachers reading print books ( and people like me ).
Most popular are e-books, traditional and about audio; it's always the less popular, because of the hard follow for the audio. E-books are the easiest nowadays; you can easily have it on your cell, so you can find it the most popular. Anyhow, nobody could get rid of the traditional books.
I can't confidently speak about the whole publishing industry, but from my experience as a translator, the number of requests for translation of e-books is definitely higher and on the rise. Audio-books (voice-over requests) are probably next in line.
E-books.
Currently, e-books are most popular among readers. It is so because such type of book can be downloaded right away and for free through various websites and is convenient also.
