Leading by example: Complete Building Structure of BURUJ AL ARAB within31st December1999 was the mission and vission.7 months before completing structure, Dubai prince would like to add a sky roof restaurant from where guests can have a feeling of dine by floating in sky. This was a massive change in building structure, which was not totally in main structure plan. It was a big blow for Project head to communicate with his team. Besides project head's team was combination of multi cultural, gender and in different geographical locations. Project head immediately called a physical meeting and called all his different department heads. As soon as he express the thought of Prince on meeting floor, all relevent leaders burst out with their challenges. Like how far they have to go for rebuilding and changing all structures of main frem, interiors, exteriors etc. After all these revise planning and execution, project head had to be given leverage in project deadline to accommodate this massive change. Bottom line is, change introduce is the most difficult part to manage. And It would be more difficult, if team consists of different culture, gender & location.
