Therefore projects which can generate revenue to sustain its maintenance and utility without being burdened in terms of services and infrastructure provisions will be managable and sustainable.
Fully agree with Mr IRPHAN. Also what would be helpful is a systematic approach and time-bound action plan.
Time management and knowing how to prioritize the tasks
all actions needed to strictly adhere with organisation strategic objectives
Effective communication through technology aps
- Effective Planning taking all the available resorces (including human resources) and constraints (e.g time) into account.
- Effective coordination and time management
- Prioritizing tasks
On the bottom line: these are easier said than done :)
Understanding time management and prioritising your tasks accordingly is the key.
According to me: To be honest, there is no easy way to manage multiple projects consistently. It's a challenge and this can be overcomed by the Project Managers if they follow the below steps in a proper methodology.
In current scenario, Every project managers need to handle more tasks than ever before because of the budget cuts and right sizing...
The first and foremost thing is we should acknowledge and congratulate ourselves for being in demand. We need to create a daily schedule that allows us to get important work done and handle the expected interruptions.

C : CATEGORIZE

D : DELICATE

We need to follow Sprint and Buffer technique for splitting up our tasks to mini-tasks. Once our larger tasks have been split into mini-tasks, we can now schedule buffer time between the mini-tasks to allow interruptions during the day. If an emergency doesn’t occur between mini-task1 and mini-task2, we continue to mini-task2. When an interruption does occur, we share...
This allows us to stay focused on what we are currently doing.
No Assumptions: We need to realize that the person coming us to help doesn’t necessarily need us to solve or work on their problems. We should ask them explicitly what they are expecting from us and we can provide them coaching or recommend help that they desire. Also we can send them in the right direction to move forward which allows them to take their next step. And most of the time, that is all they really need. So we need not assume additional work on ourself.
When someone interrupts our work schedule, we must take ownership of our calendar.
We need to be transparent always. We must share our entire list of projects that we are currently working on to our co-workers. We get more ideas from them ofcourse!
If we have unclear directives, vague requirements with our explicit understanding of the project features, we can provide a sketch, prototype or high-level demo to the client and stakeholders and can gain clarity.
We should take responsibility for getting all the information we require to produce a quality product or service.
