The immediate supervisor of the person is responsible for evaluating performance. The person who is being evaluated should be made aware of the performance scale and should have regular reviews with the supervisor to understand his or her performance. Feedback or action plans should be designed by the supervisor to ensure his or her subordinate's performance improves.
