Why do you think listening is more important than speaking?

Its more important because by listening we find out what the concerns of other members of the team are, and this enables us to address concerns and increase team work, by making a happier and more open work environment. Speaking is mainly about the speaker, eeven when they are talking about a mattter pertinent to the team
