A very philosophical question asked... different people might have a different opinion but I will stick to one and justify it. In my opinion, if a person is ethically right and has a moral conscience, it is the state of mind that is the key to success. committing blunders and morally unethical mistakes can never add up to a list of achievements of a person. However, if a person always does the work assigned to him with enthusiasm giving his best all the time, irrespective of thinking how much beneficial it will be for him, he will always have a positive and calm state of mind which will eventually add to his list of achievements. Even if he doesn't get the desired output sometimes, he will always think that he tried his best.
