In my opinion, I would not have a problem. I would gather my team around me in an office, inform them I am the one who is the Manager and we should all strive to take the Company forward. I am there to lead, coach and develop the Team as a unit and to hit all our targets. We are all there to earn a living and to take the Company forward in the long run. I would ask them what the problems are. Together we could iron out any queries/doubts etc...
walk the role... be one among them so they could lead you as one of their collegeus leading them :)
One of the main things about managing a team is to keep the foundations with in the team strong. This comes by building trust and integrity. It also means that you need to prove that you are trustworthy and that if something is wrong you will take the correct actions and when something is right and good you will highlight it to everyone. My recommendation would be to have some team building exercises with small prizes (even if its chocolates). These exercises could also be taking one problem you currently have or one thing you want to improve in your job and do a brainstorming session asking everyone to put down their ideas on small post it notes and then asking others to vote for the best solution. The next step would be to take these ideas and then implementing those that are easy to do and going to the management with those ideas that need more back up maybe financially.
If you want to lead a team, you need to show your leadership qualities.

This will not happen from the original if the leader of the group on the basis of the judgment of rapprochement and understanding of the workers with him since the start of the deal and must be close to them well and prove that the work will go them or without them even if he work by his hand too and at the same time shows reward and punishment to deal with them and hence They will not be negligent in their work and will be achieved
A good leader should always be a good follower too. Set your self as a good example in all aspects and show them respect. Be not afraid when commiting mistakes but show to them that you learned from it and make sure that you correct it by all means. Be honest and be yourself so they won't get hard time in approaching you dealing with thier challenges. Address all thier concern and create an action plan about it in favor between them and the management. Engage your team in different activities so you will get to learn more of thier different personalities. Remember to have fun all the time, that way you are helping them to make thier job a lot easy.
" Opinions can flow easily but to follow willbe difficult ". If you feel that the team don't like you then analyze what may be the reason for that and if that tends to change the leader behavior or the way of approach, then try to change oneself. Also " A lot can happen over coffee" as it says have a get together and be close to them so that it will be comfort for you to move along with them. You don't need to be loved by all members of your team. You need to be respected by them.
you have to lead by example, you need to get the good out of them and they will see the other side.
Basically i think to be a leader not to be boss. there is a hudge difference in boss and a leader. I will try to help my all members include that person to devlope skill as well as comfort zone for them so that they can do work from there own motivation
