two types: personal level or Professional level
Personal level: you have to write both pro's & con's of your goal, to plan according to this charter, choose the easiest and most effective way, it doesn't have to be the hard way, follow your goal through your previous experience and common sense analysis.. If you feel the risk, stop and perform a risk analysis with different scenarios matching your sense of reaching your goal
Professional level: In addition to the previously mentioned points, add the motivated team helping in reaching the goal, add the professional methodologies to achieve the customer/client requirements which can be briefed as follows; Planning (for time, cost and quality), actually many many factors are involved in the goal orientation process, but base line you have to be persistant and never give up
