Stick to your KRAs or KPIs and allow space to your boss to put his / her view. Allowing space to anyone for their opinion does not mean that it has to be picked up for absorption. It has to be validated.
Never take away space for others views.
As an employee, you should be focusing on your Personal KPI and ambitions. If the boss has any wrong impression about you, it will pass in time and he will understand your value as an employee. You will not always be liked by your bosses in every company, if you like working in a particular company and the boss is the only problem then you should continue being focused and working smart. Dont make the boss the most important part of your life and ultimately you should be rewarded. Remember, the Boss has a Boss, if you are of value to the company, then some bosses will like you. At the end of the day, it business!
